6 Tips to Stay Fit In Winters

It’s tough to stay fit on cold days. Winter mornings lead to curling up in your blankets for more time. Many people avoid exercising in winters – it’s cold one morning, and then something will come up the next day. One day becomes two or three and before you know it, a week has gone by and you haven’t exercise at all.

So how you can motivate yourself to keep exercising this winter? Here are a few tips can do wonders when that temperature strikes a ghastly 15 degrees.

1) Change your workout routine

Change is always good. You can reconsider your workout timings as waking up early in winters is quite difficult. You can also invest in some gear. New gear can inspire you to exercise daily.

2) Protect your skin

 

Winter means dry air that can be a trouble for your skin. Drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. Moisturize properly after the hot water bath. Moreover, make sure to apply sunscreen before going out as UV exposure increases 8%-10% for every 1,000 feet of elevation. Apply sunscreen with at least 30 SPF to protect your face, nose, ears, and lips from sunburn. Don’t forget to wear UV blocking sunglasses to protect your eyes.

3) Workout with your friend

A workout companion will keep you going strong and long. It improves your workout stamina and you don’t feel like missing your gym session. So buddy up with your training partner and get going.

4) Try workout at home

Don’t want to go gym in the cold morning? Practice yoga at home. If you don’t know how to do yoga, you can hire a yoga instructor or can learn from various online tutorials.

5) Sleep well

 

Sleep of 7-8 hours is really important to relax your muscles after gym. To stay fit, ensure to follow a consistent sleeping pattern every day. Moreover, sleeping and waking up at the same time every day will definitely make it easy for you to work out in winter.

6) Eat Well

Eating healthy is really important to stay fit and healthy. Eating the right food will keep your body strong and help you fight depression and illness. If you’re a teenager, remember eating well and exercising often helps you stay fit later in life.
