5 Tips To Avoid Diabetes Complications

If  you are diagnosed with diabetes, you  should take some preventive measures to  manage your blood sugar. By keeping your diabetes under control you may avoid various health  complications from high blood sugar.  Uncontrolled blood sugar may affect your heart, nerves, eyes, kidneys, and feet. Here are some tips that can help you avoid diabetes complications.

1. Eat A Healthy Diet To Lose Weight

If you are overweight, shedding a few pounds can lower your sugar levels, improve your blood pressure and blood fats. Moreover, eating a healthy diet  may bring you more energy. If you want to manage your sugar levels, you can start with cutting excessive sugar, fat, and calories from your diet.
