Laurel F. is Able to Afford Her Son’s Medication.
My son was in ICU in the hospital last fall with no insurance. He was in for five days. He was discharged with six prescriptions. I asked the nurse what we can do, not having insurance. She said to go to Wal-Mart, they are the cheapest. I went and asked for a total on all six and was told one was $77. I told her I could not afford all six – my husband is laid off from work. The woman gave me your number to call and I was given a member number, and they filled all six prescriptions for $52. I was so happy. I go to Wal-Mart now for my pills and for my son’s too. I have told many friends and family who are struggling. Thank you so very much.
